Alcohol Ink is a fun, new medium.  It is acid-free, fast drying transparent coordinating dye ink specially formulated to create a colorful, polished stone effect. It can be used on glossy paper, dominoes, metal, shrink plastic, glass, and other slick, non-porous surfaces.

The video that I’ve created covers the materials and techniques to make four different types of designs on the tiles.  The first is a sunset landscape, the second a flower, the third an abstract and lastly an underwater seascape.

Products can be purchased online or at local art supply stores. The tiles were purchased at the local home improvement store.  The other materials used are common household items that are easily found at any local grocery store.
